Vince Leone

VetStarts Founder, President and Proud Army Veteran.

Vince has a broad leadership background in business, non-profits and in a variety of community and military environments. He served as a Regular Army Field Artillery officer for eight years achieving the rank of Major. His assignment highlights include the command and control of three mobile Pershing II nuclear missiles in Germany where he received the Army Superior Unit Award.  During the Persian Gulf War, he commanded a 24th Infantry Division field artillery battery and was awarded the Bronze Star.

After the military he went on to develop a proven 25-year track record of developing innovative and successful business plans, growth strategies and executive coaching for fortune 500 companies, small to medium size businesses, local startups and international and local non-profit organizations.

As the president and founder of VetStarts he strives to make a significant and sustainable difference in the lives of veterans, their families, people with special needs and his community. Vince also coaches victims of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and people with special needs to start new and rewarding careers, restore personal dignity and work towards financial independence. He received his coaching certification through the Coach Training Alliance in 2008, and is currently preparing to complete his ICF Professional Coach Certification. As an expression of his faith his personal mission is to reflect God’s love by coaching, writing and igniting with passion and creativity.

Vince and his wife Barbara are celebrating 35 years of marriage, have three adult children, live in Arlington, Texas, and are huge fans of the Texas Rangers.
